Agile Trainer

Agile Trainer (BBBH12621) Broughton, Wales


My client is looking for an Agile Trainer to join on them on a 9-month contract to the end of 2022. As an Agile Trainer, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of the Agile skill set to employees at the Broughton site.

Role: Agile Trainer
Pay: £Negotiable depending on experience (if Umbrella it will be inside IR35)
Location: Broughton (Mainly on site)
Contract: 9 Months to the end of 2022 – 35 hours per week Monday - Friday
Security Clearance: Basic
Job Profile

The primary focus of the role is to establish an Agile strategy, organisation and culture to create an effective environment for accelerated delivery of results in a
manufacturing/engineering environment.
? The Agile trainer will be able to lead project framing activities to help properly define problems ahead of solution identification.
? The Agile Trainer must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including operators, support team members, engineers and senior managers.
? The Agile trainer should have previous “real world” experience of deploying agile tools to solve business problems. It would be very advantageous if the Agile Trainer has experience of deploying Agile methods e.g. scrum in an industrial environment.
? The role holder will be required to work closely with all employees at all levels and deliver Agile coaching to employees.
? Contribute to the development of the site innovation strategy, support an Agile culture change approach and diversify a “new ways of working” mindset.
? Define and develop the objectives hierarchy of the Agile projects using appropriate strategies, methods and tools.
? The role holder will be required to manage Agile sprints and should have substantial experience of performing the Scrum Master role, including associated certification.
? The role holder will be responsible for the planning and facilitation of workshops on a diverse range of topics, including but not limited to idea generation, problem solving and process optimisation.
? The role holder should also be able to use their skills, knowledge and experience to
contribute to innovation strategy planning.

Skills/Experience Required

?Demonstrable Agile specialism is essential, including relevant certification.
? Experience of deployment of Agile methodologies in non-software development
environments is essential.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban
? Experience as a Scrum master or with the agile methodology
? Knowledge of agile software development
? Strong communication and problem-solving skills
? Interpersonal skills and patience
? An awareness of Design Thinking would be an advantage.
? An awareness of additive manufacturing would be an advantage
