HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor (BBBH13487) Broughton, Wales

Salary: GBP25 - GBP29.83 per hour


My client is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor to join on them on a 12 month contract. As a HRBP, you will be responsible as the primary HR interface with the business; you support and advise managers in their management role. You also ensure that HR policies are applied and that HR processes are implemented effectively and consistently in the business area in line with local legislation and global HR strategy.

Pay: £29.83 per hour via Umbrella inside IR35
Location: Broughton (onsite working is required)
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday, (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Job Profile

  • Acting as a strategic business partner and advising local and transnational managers in their management role in line with HR strategy and challenging management thinking, driving constant improvement and innovation in the business.
  • Establishing a two-way information flow with the business and the Centers of Expertise: ensuring management awareness for HR policies and providing input on business needs to the Center of Expertise, providing managers with HR tools and practices for managing all HR-related process.
  • Facilitating changes processes in the business by supporting managers in managing the human aspect of change in line with Airbus change management strategy.
  • Supporting and challenging managers on the qualitative and quantitative aspects of re-source planning (Optimize Skills, headcount planning), internal and external mobility/recruitment and contributing to the staffing plan.
  • Providing organization advice to managers.
  • Advising managers and employees on career development, supporting the deployment and integration of people development, remuneration and talent management processes, managing the development conferences and implementing a strategic succession planning process for the business area. Providing input on learning needs.
  • Ensuring effective employee relation solutions within existing local employee relation policy and practice.
  • Depending on profile and position, managing a limited team of other junior local Human Resources Business Partners.


Skills/Experience Required
To succeed in this position, you must have the following knowledge and skills:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience within a large HR function and preferably within a fast paced Manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of the main HR processes and IT tools and relevant legislation.
  • Generalist HR knowledge with strong change and strategic competencies.
  • A highly pro-active mindset, the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to managers.
  • Good communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities in a transnational environment.
  • You should have at least an advanced level in English.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification is desirable.
  • Able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in the business



Education & Training

  • Degree level qualification and/or CIPD or relevant experience
  • Previous experience within a similar HR role and ideally experience of working with Senior Management.
  • Desirable – Previous experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing, Unionised environment.
