My client is looking for an Operations Support (AOS Agent) to join on them on a 12 month contract. As an Operations Support (AOS Agent), you will be responsible for working alongside the production management team to coach and facilitate business improvement using the Airbus Operating System (AOS). Based on ‘Right first time’ Lean principles such as, Problem Solving, Kaizen (continuous improvement) and Quality Standards the Lean AOS department of the Broughton site, is an exciting opportunity to influence and drive change in an established wing manufacturing facility.
Role: Operations Support (AOS Agent)
Pay: £23.17 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Location: Broughton, Flintshire
Contract: 12 months
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)
Security Clearance: BPSS
Job Profile
- Support the AOS team in deploying the tools of the system to drive continuous improvement.
- Support continuous improvement /waste elimination of business governance and associated reviews.
- Anticipate risks and find business improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Provide lean coaching to Operations managers and their teams.
- Drive and influence change in a leading aircraft manufacturing environment
- Work alongside all business levels, adapting to changing landscapes within the business
Skills/Experience Required
- Good knowledge of the application of Lean manufacturing
- Strong ability to work well in a team.
- Self-motivated in managing personal time, goals and objectives.
- Able to work autonomously, recognising when support is required and seeking advice when necessary.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations & deliver on commitments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to a variety of audiences.
- Innovative mindset with creativity & strong analytical skills
- Coaching improvement of standards and management routines
- Focus on removal of non-value added activities with a strive for efficiency
- Have a customer focus and the ability to integrate well into the business
- Confident & resilient with ability to challenge the Business.
