We are seeking skilled Cable Assemblers to join our team working in a busy and expanding company based in Slough.

The Cable Assembler will have previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, crimping and terminating cables.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wiring techniques and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

This role requires working at a fast pace to complete a high volume of work. 

This role is repetitive and will require candidates to have a keen attention to detail.

Cable Assembler Responsibilities:

• Preparing cables, cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires and cables
• Using various hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons to prepare and assemble cables
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics
• Assembling and terminating connectors and harnesses
• Testing and inspecting cable assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Cable Assembler Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cable assembler, wire person, or similar role
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in cable assembly
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Certification in cable, harness, loom wiring or related field is a plus
