SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
SPECIALIST MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
Commutable from Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Cleveleys and local regions
Days – 4 Day Working Week
£45,000 - £50,000 – Medical Care, Matched Pension Scheme and Further.
Role Description
- Experience and knowledge with component manufacturing, industrialisation, and validation, including activities such as: Failure modes / Effects analysis / Control Plans / First Article Inspection Reports
- Experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus in materials & developments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
- Experience of working closely with customers and suppliers
- Engineering degree or relevant experience in a relevant field such as mechanical, manufacturing, process, general engineering etc.
- Ability to read CAD drawings, 3D models, to determine manufacturing know how and capabilities from these
Skills and Qualifications
- Engineering based education path
- Ability to work in a fast-paced / cross-functional team environment
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and set personal and team objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Strong work ethic, high level of aptitude and attitude
