GI Group is currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver for an internationally recognised client based in Stoke (ST5). The business provides global courier services, specialising in the express market. Operating across multiple countries, they’re well known for their technology-led approach, strong customer service, and commitment to sustainability.

Class 1 shifts

• Start times between 12:00–16:00
• Monday - Friday - ongoing
• Weekend work available
• Average shift length: 10 hours

Pay & benefits (PAYE):

• Day rate (shift starts before 18:00): £17.93 per hour*

*PAYE rates include advanced holiday pay.

Main duties:

• Completing vehicle checks
• Trunking to depots and hubs (run details provided prior to each shift)
• Making deliveries safely to customers across the UK

Requirements:

• Smart, professional appearance, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsements)
• Valid, in-date Tachograph card and CPC
• Strong customer service skills
• Minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
