Overview

We’re recruiting a reliable and safety-focused Bendi (Flexi/Articulated) Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Portsmouth. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting day-to-day goods movement, accurate stock handling, and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Bendi/Flexi (articulated) forklift safely and efficiently within a warehouse environment (often narrow-aisle).
  • Load/unload vehicles and move stock to/from storage locations.
  • Put-away, replenishment and picking support as required.
  • Carry out daily pre-use checks on the truck and report defects promptly.
  • Work with WMS/scanners (where applicable) and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring aisles and work areas are kept clean and safe.
  • Follow all site procedures including H&S, manual handling and PPE requirements.
  • Support general warehouse duties during quieter periods (wrapping, labelling, palletising, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid Bendi/Flexi (articulated) forklift licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent).
  • Confident operating a Bendi in a fast-paced warehouse setting (narrow aisle experience preferred).
  • Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence.
  • Experience using handheld scanners/WMS systems.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail distribution, or 3PL environments.

Hours & Contract

  • Full-time, permanent (specific shift pattern to be confirmed based on business needs).
  • Overtime may be available during peak periods.
