Shifts: Lates 14:30–22:30 (core shift) + Nights available
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Overtime: Available during busy periods (peak seasons)
Overview:
We are recruiting Parcel Sorters for a hands-on role with the opportunity to go permanent. This is a warehouse-based position working mainly late shifts, with night shifts also available. You will be responsible for sorting parcels safely, accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort parcels by postcode and route, placing them in the correct cages or on the correct conveyors
- Load and unload vehicles (vans, trailers, lorries) safely
- Scan, label and check parcels to ensure accurate processing
- Move parcels around the warehouse using pump trucks or by hand (within manual handling guidelines)
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Follow all site health & safety, security and manual handling procedures
- Work to targets and deadlines, especially during busy periods
- Work as part of a team and support colleagues and supervisors as required
Shifts & Hours:
- Late shift: 14:30–22:30 (core shift pattern)
- Night shifts: also available depending on volume and business needs
- Overtime: available in busier periods of the year (e.g. peak / seasonal) and may include additional hours, extra days or longer shifts
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour

Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is desirable but not essential
- Willing and able to do a physically demanding role (lifting, carrying, standing for long periods)
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to late shifts (and nights if required)
- Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy
- Good level of spoken and written English for safety and instruction purposes
- Right to work in the UK and able to provide relevant documentation
- Able to pass any site-specific vetting or background checks if required
