Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications (BBBH2424) Sydney, Australia
Every day, 28 Australians are diagnosed with un-correctable vision loss. Of those, 9 will become blind. Guide Dogs NSW/ACT has been voted the most trusted brand in Australia six years running. We see beyond sight loss; guiding our clients to independence, seeking new way to prevent blindness, creating connected communities.
Today with our Towards 2022 strategic plan in action, we proactively seek to see beyond current needs and anticipate growing demand for our services so that we achieve continued long-term financial sustainability, deliver increased customer satisfaction and community reputation.
To do this the CEO seeks a contemporary story teller who will strategically assist us as a collective to embrace a multi-channel engagement approach with our customers; and in doing so create new points of product value for our community – wherever they may be. You will have strategic oversight and refinement of our new fundraising strategy that will substantially grow the organisation’s philanthropic income through major gifts and planned and regular giving activities; you will drive high performance within you team with opportunity for further optimisation including systems and processes refinement. You will also take a lead role in successfully negotiating and activating several nationally integrated marketing, brand and fundraising activities.
You must have in-depth experience in developing and activating commercially viable products and their related stories in targeted and tangible ways within contestable marketplaces; which includes leveraging advancements in technology and digital media to create connection opportunities. You will have driven strategic value creation, via the infinitely expandable world of data assets, that have informed an organisation’s focus on acquiring, engaging, cultivating, and upgrading donor/customer relationships. Your reputation for strategically harnessing both the technical and relationship skills of others around you via partnership, influence and collaboration at a national level will be viewed as a genuine asset.
