This is a rare opportunity to join a market leading company that provide engineering support services to high technology manufactures world wide. They are recruiting a number of Field Service Engineers to support a wide range of Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment within the Manufacturing, Research and Scientific industries. Based from home, you will be expected to travel to customers within the UK, Europe and other parts of the world, as required.
* The role will only suit candidates who are able and willing to commit to regular periods spent away from home.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Working from home, you will travel to customer sites world wide to undertake the Repair, Maintenance, Commissioning, Installation and De-Installation of Semiconductor equipment.
• Provide high-level Process Support and expertise on-site and remotely for the customer along with any trouble shooting on equipment and Process issues.
• Provide onsite Training for customers to ensure safe operation, maintenance and processing of materials at their sites.
• Prepare Report Sheets with detailing information in a timely manner
• You will travel extensively and could be expected to stay away from home for a number of weeks at a time.
Knowledge, Skills, and experience
• Time served and posess a minimum of ONC / HNC level Engineering
• Experience as an International Service Engineer or similar
• In-depth Semiconductor equipment Service / Maintenance / Process Engineering experience
• Knowledgeable in the following areas: Ion Implantation, Diffusion / CVD Furnaces, Wet Etch / Dry (Plasma) Etch, Vapour Deposition etc
• A willingness to travel extensively Overseas
