Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer

Location: London

Rate: £165 p/day

Are you a Data Cabling Engineer looking for work in London? This role involves installing Cat6a data cables in risers and along tray routes, with initial responsibilities focused on installation followed by testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fluke testing and a strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.

Description of contract/programme of works:

• Install Cat6a data cables in risers and along tray routes
• Perform Fluke testing to ensure the quality of installations
• Ensure installations are compliant with relevant safety standards and industry regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient completion of tasks
• Report progress and any issues encountered during the installation process
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness on-site

Experience required:

• Proven experience in data cabling installations, particularly Cat6a cabling
• Proficient in Fluke testing and ensuring installations meet required performance standards
• Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

• ECS/CSCS card (essential)
• Asbestos Awareness (required)
• Standard hand tools
• Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
