Working with a great business we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Senior Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution warehouse team.
This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse and duties will include picking, packin and dispatching goods in a timely and accurate manner.

Sheffield as a Senior warehouse operative, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock intake, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the efficiency of our clients warehouse operations.
Main Purpose of the Role
To take day-to-day responsibility for the receipt and put-away of all inbound materials, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to both company policies and essential high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and book in all inbound goods and vehicles
- Administer booking-in control documents efficiently
- Physically check all inbound deliveries against receipt documents
- Input accurate data into business systems for all received stock
- Supervise and support inventory put-away using various forklift types
- Train and mentor team members as required
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team activities
- Follow company policies, good practice and Health & Safety protocols at all times
- Deputise for the Goods Receipt Team Leader when needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the working area
- Assist with customer quality complaint documentation
- Represent the company professionally, promoting a positive image at all times
What We're Looking For
- Experience in goods receipt, warehouse, or logistics roles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data input and basic IT systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude towards health, safety, and compliance
- Qualified to drive a range of MHE including counterbalance & reach
