Export Sales Manager

Location: Netherlands

Job term: Interim (long term potential)

Rate: €600 - €650 per day (Limited Co) Negotiable + expenses + commission

An Export Sales Manager with experience of selling agricultural machinery, road maintenance machinery, forestry machinery or products sold in to similar markets and dealers, is required for a leading manufacturer based in Netherlands.

The company wants to expand its export and domestic sales and you will lead a team of sales engineers who are based in Netherlands and in neighbouring countries.

The role of Export Sales Manager includes the following:

• Create a comprehensive list of potential target clients and formulate an action plan as to how to target and reach out to these customers.
• Leading your team to develop the existing network of dealers through close cooperation and analysis of KPI's and supporting dealer sales teams.
• Growing the export market in line with agreed targets.
• Grow sales domestically and internationally.
• Create annual sales forecasts by region analysing opportunity and risk.
• Promote commercial and technical training for sales teams and dealer sales.
• Implementation and follow-up of marketing actions.
• Provide qualified and quantified information on products, network, competition, customer expectations, market demands or market trends, etc.
• Recruit and develop sales team in line with commercial growth.

The ideal candidate for Export Sales Manager will need to possess the following experience:

• Strong knowledge of agricultural technology sector selling into Europe.
• Experienced with selling into dealers.
• Successful export business experience.
• Proficiency in Dutch, English essential and German (desirable)
• Experience with leading and growing a successful sales team.
• Technical qualification in engineering or exporting is desirable.
