Regional Finance Manager | 12 Months Renewable Contract (A027038) Hong Kong

Salary: HKD50000 - HKD60000 per month

An exclusive opportunity to seek for an experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee core finance and accounting activities across Asia. The role focuses on full set of accounts, financial reporting and governance, compliance and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decision-making. This position will also contribute to ongoing process enhancements, system initiatives, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including financial closing and statutory-related activities across Asia.
  • Own and manage the full month‑end and year‑end closing process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial close in line with group timelines.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions, ensuring appropriate classification and compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
  • Review and validate general ledger and bookkeeping records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness prior to submission to group or regional finance teams
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements, including timely filings and adherence to group accounting policies.
  • Oversee tax compliance activities, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accurate submissions and regulatory alignment.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, proactively identifying risks, challenging non‑compliant practices, and ensuring adherence to expense and policy guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline. Qualified Accountant is required.
  • At least 8 years proven experience managing month‑end close, statutory audits, and compliance within a structured finance environment. Prior auditing experience is highily advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands‑on experience in accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Solid understanding of local tax and statutory requirements, with experience liaising with auditors and external advisors.
  • Proficient in common office tools and finance systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
