 Temporary Journals Editor

Salary: Holiday Pay Per Hour (1.95)
Do you have experience working on academic journals and are available at short notice? An excellent part-time opportunity has arisen in the editorial team of a prestigious STM publisher, as they are looking for someone to join them on a temporary basis and help identify highly-cited authors for their APC journals and provide ad hoc admin support to the journals’ team.
They are based in London and can provide flexible working arrangements after an initial training period in the office. The role will be part-time (ca. 2 days a week) and likely to run for 2-3 months, though there is potential to be made permanent.
We are looking for:
- Previous experience in an editorial/editorial operations role in journals publishing
- Good communications skills
- Research skills
- Experience liaising with authors
- Availability to start asap
