Our client is responsible for providing advanced manufacturing services across the UK and Europe. It has expanded its capabilities over time, investing in new facilities, technologies, and expertise, and now holds a strong position in both polymer and metal manufacturing sectors.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform precision measurement and inspection of metal components 
• Program and operate Mitutoyo CMMs (online/offline)
• Complete FAIRs to AS9102 standards.
• Maintain calibration systems, ensure all measurement equipment is in reliable condition, and manage inspection resources.
• Identify non-conformities, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate across teams 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in CMM programming (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS, CAT1000PS, ScanPak) 
• Competent in FAIRs (AS9102), with solid understanding of GD&T, inspection processes, and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of advanced quality methodologies 
• Broad engineering background, including manufacturing, machining, materials testing, and exposure to 3D scanning technologies 
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
