£35,000 – £40,000

Our client manufactures rubber mouldings for industrial, commercial and military applications. Due to expansion, they are looking to grow the team, offering a brilliant opportunity for a process engineer to support the development of new production parts within rubber moulding.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and document manufacturing processes for rubber moulding and associated assembly operations.
• Support new product introduction by defining process parameters, workflows, and collaborating on tooling and feasibility.
• Apply technical expertise across moulding methods, material testing, bonding processes, and tooling development.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth process handovers.
• Manage projects and quality requirements, ensuring products meet safety, performance, and customer standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of injection, compression, or transfer moulding (experience across multiple methods preferred).
• Hands-on, practical mindset with willingness to learn and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to assess and interpret quality characteristics of rubber components.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments, ideally with a background in plastics or moulding.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
