SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for an Mid-level Data Scientist Manager to join our client’s chemical research and development/manufacturing team in Urbandale, Iowa. This person will model complex problems, uncover actionable insights, and identify business opportunities using advanced statistical, algorithmic, data mining, and visualization techniques.

Must Haves:

• Masters Degree
• Minimum 4-6 years in relevant Data roles
• Experience with translating non-technical requirements into experimental designs and data acquisition strategies to gather relevant datasets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Continuously applying and evaluating new methodologies and experimental approaches to validate and enhance results.
• Integrating external third-party data sources as needed to enrich company datasets.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data prior to analysis.
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear, concise manner.
• Designing and maintaining automated anomaly detection systems, monitoring their ongoing performance.
• Delivering comprehensive analytical reports and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders and end-users.
