We are recruiting for a General Engineering Operative for our client based in Daventry

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Pay: AM shift £13.66 per hour | PM shift £15.49 per hour

Two set shifts: either AM shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm and Friday, 7:00am–12:00pm or PM shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm–2:15am

Our long-established manufacturing client based in Daventry is currently recruiting for General Engineering Operatives to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse, production, or engineering experience who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive and busy manufacturing environment.

General Engineering Operative Responsibilities

• Part numbering to identify and organise components, assemblies, and products.
• Deburring metal components using hand tools, grinders, or deburring machines to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections.
• Cleaning and washing parts to remove oil, swarf, and contaminants before inspection or assembly.
• Inspecting parts for quality and defects after deburring and washing.
• Following Health and Safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

General Engineering Operative Requirements

• Previous warehouse, production, or engineering experience.
• Computer literate with the ability to follow systems and processes accurately.
• Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Able to measure
