We are currently recruiting for a commercially focused and proactive Branch | Depot Manager to join our client’s sales team in the outskirts of Loughborough.

Salary: Circa £45K per annum (DOE)

Bonus: paid quarterly

We are looking for an experienced and driven Depot Manager to lead our branch in the outskirts of Loughborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong sales management experience to inspire a team, grow branch performance, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and coach the branch team to achieve sales, margin, and productivity targets.
• Support the overall profitability of the depot by identifying opportunities to improve margin and performance.
• Generate business from both new and existing customers through proactive sales activity.
• Build strong client relationships through outbound contact, follow-up activity, and excellent customer service.
• Manage daily branch operations, including customer enquiries, trade counter support, and order processing.
• Work closely with regional stakeholders to implement sales strategies and improve conversion rates.
• Carry out regular one-to-one meetings and support performance management across the team.
• Represent the business at trade shows and industry events where required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a branch, depot, or sales management role.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, margin management, and branch performance.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a commercial environment.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good IT skills and confidence working with sales administration processes.
• A proactive, positive, and hands-on approach to leadership.
• Ideally, knowledge of building products, construction materials, or merchanting environments.
