We are currently recruiting for an experienced Linisher | Fettler to work for our client based in Loughborough on a temporary to permanent and full-time basis.

Salary: £13.60 - £13.85 depending on experience

Hours: 6am – 2pm | 2pm – 10pm rotating shifts

About the role:

·       Working towards production targets.

·       Ensuring that all products are manufactured to customer specification.

·       Operating the linishing machinery to finish metal components to a high standard

·       Prepare surfaces using sanding belts and polishing wheels

·       Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy and consistency

·       Work with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components

·       Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe and organised workspace

·       Accurately completing all relevant documentation in a timely manner.

·       Responsible for all personal equipment, gauges and tooling ensuring that they are kept in good condition and accounted for.

About you:

·       Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

·       Good standard of verbal and written English

·       Good standard of numeracy skills

·       Extensive experience of linishing/fettling

·       Must be able to read engineering drawings

·       Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.

·       Confident working with power tools and machinery safely
