We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Field Service Engineer working on a full time and permanent basis with our client who is based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum

Shift: 8 hours per day

Full job description

Working both on customers sites as well as in the workshop based in Loughborough.

·       Servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of both company owned and customer forklift trucks ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimised.

·       Provide clear information regarding equipment, service, repair or inspection status and to advise actions that maybe required to maintain the equipment.

·       Liaison with the parts department to ensure appropriate repairs are carried out to the required time frames.

·       Completion of documentation to company standards

·       Always Work within Health & Safety requirements.

About you:

·       In-depth mechanical and electrical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skills

·       Maintaining and Repairing Material Handling Equipment: 3 years (required)

·       Experience in a similar role is essential

·       Experience of hydraulics and electrical equipment

·       Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise concisely with all levels of customers

·       To be able to work as part of a team or under your own initiative

·       A full driving licence

·       A tool kit

·       Computer literate.
