We are currently recruiting for Laser and Forming Operators for our client based in Loughborough.

Salary: £13.45–£15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Rotating weekly shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm | 37.5-hour working week | Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Laser and Forming Operators, you will operate the laser cutting and punching machines to produce precision metal components. 
Key Responsibilities

• Configure and set up laser cutting and punching machines according to product specifications.
• Program and adjust machine settings, including speed, power, and tooling, to achieve precise measurements and shapes.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance department.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.

Experience

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machine operation and tooling.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
