We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic on a full time and permanent basis for a well-known client based in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

Salary: Circa £34K PA

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and two Saturdays per month 8:30am until 12 noon

Location: Long Eaton

Holiday entitlement: 30 days annual plus statutory bank holidays

As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic you will be:

·       Carrying out diagnostics

·       Servicing & routine maintenance

·       Carrying out vehicle health checks

·       Pre-delivery and safety inspections

·       Ensuring that all repairs are carried out correctly first time and to the manufacturer’s specification

·       Various duties including cambelt replacement, engine rebuilds, clutch replacements, brake maintenance plus transmission diagnostics and rebuilds

·       To undertake training, either in-house or externally as and when required & to abide by health and safety expectations.

About you

·       You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification.

·       Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
