We are recruiting for a Heavy-Duty Sewer / Industrial Sewing Machinist in Melton Mowbray | Up to £15 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm on a temp to perm basis.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sewing machine skills who is confident working with heavy-duty materials and producing work to a high standard.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 4:00pm, with pay of up to £15 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew heavy-duty materials.
• Work from job specifications, patterns, or instructions to complete products accurately.
• Measure, cut, stitch, and finish materials to a high standard.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished items meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Report any machine faults, material issues, or quality concerns to the relevant supervisor.

About You

• Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist / Heavy-Duty Sewer or similar.
• Confident using industrial sewing machines and working with thicker or heavy-duty materials.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
