We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work on a full time and permanent basis on the outskirts of Loughborough.

Salary: £27-28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our client’s team near Loughborough. This is a dual-role position, split between warehouse responsibilities and multi-drop deliveries when required using a 3.5-ton flatbed van. Some flexibility required on driving days.

You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the warehouse and timely, accurate deliveries to customers. The role requires a proactive attitude, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.

·       Accurately pick, prepare, and pack orders for dispatch.

·       Receive, check, and store incoming goods to ensure warehouse stock is accurate and well-organised.

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented warehouse environment

·       Follow all health and safety protocols.

·       Plan and carry out customer deliveries in a friendly, professional manner.

·       Conduct daily vehicle checks, report defects, and comply with all driving and transport regulations.

·       Use delivery and warehouse systems to record accurate operational data.

·       Switch between warehouse and driving duties depending on business needs.

·       Ensure timely dispatch and delivery schedules are met without compromise.

About you:

·       Professional and friendly manner.

·       A high level of attention to detail.

·       Proactive approach to maintaining a safe work and driving environment.

·       Works well with others and communicates clearly with warehouse and transport teams.

·       Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.

·       Forklift licence (including side loader) beneficial but not required.

·       Delivery driving experience (ideally using flatbeds or commercial vans).

·       Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
