JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join a newly reopened Dental Surgery at an Aboriginal Medical Service in Geraldton as a dedicated Dental Assistant. We're looking for someone passionate about patient care and eager to contribute positively to our close-knit team. While prior experience is preferred, we're open to providing training to the right candidate. Applicants must have current working rights in Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist dentists during procedures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment

• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and treatment areas

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

• Manage patient records and appointments

• Foster a positive and supportive work environment
