About the company
ARA Australia was established in early 2015 and has grown to over A$2.7b in FuM in that time. The business is set for a period of rapid growth as they continue to strengthen their assets in the Australian market; it's an exciting time to join! Due to some internal changes in the Finance team, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager on a ten month fixed-term contract basis (to cover maternity leave) to join this small yet highly talented team, reporting to an impressive Head of Finance with the support of the broader ARA Group.

The Role
This position is suited to an ambitious individual who is looking to advance their career in an organisation that is experiencing growth. It's important you are comfortable with a ten month fixed term contract and available to start mid April. The role will be hands-on and broad with its responsibilities, including corporate accounting (including budgeting and forecasting), fund accounting, and portfolio management.

To succeed in this role, you will need -
  • Relevant degree and CA/CPA qualification
  • Available to start mid April
  • Minimum five years' experience
  • Financial and management reporting experience
  • Broad knowledge of investment markets with a property focus (prefered)
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to self-manage
  • Confident and with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills
