MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician – Mon to Fri

£36,000 per annum (negotiable dep on exp) + Bonus

We're recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a busy, established automotive workshop offering something a little different from the usual MOT testing role.

Rather than spending five days a week carrying out back-to-back MOTs, you'll enjoy a varied working week combining MOT testing with hands-on fast-fit workshop duties.

What does your working week look like?

Monday              MOT Testing

Tuesday             Fast-Fit Workshop

Wednesday     MOT Testing

Thursday           Fast-Fit Workshop

Friday                  MOT Testing

On MOT testing days, you'll typically complete 8–9 tests, while your workshop days will involve a variety of fast-fit services, including tyres, wheel alignment and wheel straightening.

What we're looking for

• A qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA MOT testing licence (Class 4).
• Experience working within a busy automotive workshop.
• Practical experience in tyres, wheel alignment and general fastfit services.
• A flexible, reliable approach and the ability to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship.
