Working Site Manager - Joinery , Retail, Fitout - Up to £220 per shift + Expenses (Days & Nights)
About the Company
A joinery and retail fitout contractor based in the North West, who specialise in delivering fast track fit out projects to clients in the retail and shopfitting sector. They cover the whole of the UK, delivering schemes for blue chip clients, ranging in value from £20k to £1m.
About the Role
You will join as a working site manager on fast track retail fit out projects, and lead a team of joiners to deliver the package . You will be responsible for managing the project as Number 1, while controlling a team of joiners and other trades, monitoring health and safety and writing reports at the end of each shift. You will have trade background as a joiner and have experience working on fast paced fit outs. You will be capable of leading a team while working on the tools yourself, and making sure that tight programmes are kept to. You will be expected to work on the tools for a few hours per shift as and when needed, as well as keeping on top of all paperwork and health & safety. Projects are UK wide so you must be happy to work away from home when needed.
What you need to succeed
You must have a background as a joiner / shopfitter, and hold valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates. You must have your own tools & transport, and be willing to work away when needed. You must be flexible to work day or night shifts as required. You must have management experience and be familiar with health & safety regulations.
