Dorset - 6 Month Contract
£334 p/d Umbrella - Inside IR35

In overview the four key elements of this role are -
Change - configuration management support.
Quality – Quality Management support
Service support - business process and financial administration.
Logistics - provision and maintenance of equipment and materiel.

These are the drivers that will allow the postholder to provide support to the Morpheus Test & Reference Centre (MTRC) team through their current surge of work.

It will be your responsibility to –
Assist in the creation and maintenance of a configuration baseline.
Develop an Asset Management Service to the MTRC, including the acceptance, back-loading and disposal of assets in line with industry best practice and MOD Policy.
Develop the Land Systems Reference Centre (LSRC) Goods in/Goods out Processes to facilitate the efficient and tracked acceptance and distribution of permanent and loan assets aligned to MOD processes and documentation.
Aligning current QMS procedures with new team and new ways of working. Creation of configuration management process and procedures

You will have a shared responsibility to –
Provide guidance to the MTRC staff and management in the production of equipment baselines to facilitate knowledge sharing, as part of a day-to-day ways of working.
Provide guidance to the MTRC on the management of Configurable Items and the recording of their status including, but not limited to, design documents, build documents & equipment cabinet drawings, as part of a day-to-day ways of working.

Develop the processes and documents including registers and histories of MTRC assets, where assets include -
(i) Master copies of software.
(ii) Documentation.
(iii) Data.
(iv) Licenses.
(v) Warranty.
(vi) Maintenance

Develop the Change Control process so that it can be applied to assets shared by MTRC and LSRC, in accordance with the LSRC Quality Management System (QMS), to support the repeatability need of a Testing House.

Skills/Experience Required
Essential –
Configuration Management Asset Management Ability to produce documents, processes and procedures in accordance with ISO9001-2015 guidelines Test Management

Desirable –
ISO:9001 Certification
