The Role

As a Service Charge Accountant, you will manage end-to-end service charge accounting for a dedicated property portfolio, working closely with Property Managers, clients, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end service charge accounts following RICS Codes of Practice and ARMA rules.

• Manage accruals, prepayments, developer voids, income splits, and balancing adjustments.

• Coordinate client audits, submit VAT returns to HMRC, and issue Section 20b notices.

• Resolve complex accounting queries with property managers, freeholders, and RMCs.

• Assist with the financial on boarding of newly acquired properties.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience as a Service Charge Accountant, Portfolio Accountant, or Block Property Accountant.

• Strong knowledge of residential property management regulations (RICS, ARMA-Q).

• Hands-on experience with property accounting systems (e.g., Qube, Yardi, Tramps) and MS Excel.

• Excellent numerical precision, time management, and communication skills.

• Candidate keen to develop and progress
