What You’ll Be Doing (With Full Training Provided):

  • Year-End Service Charge Accounts: Preparing client accounts packs, completing proformas, and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Reconciliations & Cash Flow: Dealing with bank reconciliations, credit/debit receipts, reserve balance reconciliations, and cash monitoring.
  • Client & Portfolio Reporting: Compiling quarterly financial packs for directors and client landlord statements.
  • Property Setup & Funding Support: Assisting with setting up new properties on property management software and advising teams on funding positions.
  • Audit & Query Resolution: Answering client and auditor queries, resolving balance sheet discrepancies, and ensuring compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Part-qualified or studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (Level 3 or above preferred).
  • Core Experience: Demonstrable, hands-on experience in reconciliations, balance sheet control, and numerical work.
  • Mindset: Switched-on, commercially aware, highly organized, and eager to step up into property accounting.
  • Tech Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Word, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables are a plus).
  • Property Knowledge: No prior experience needed—a willingness to learn residential property management practices is all you need!
