A new opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 Driver to join a family-run recycling company with over 30 years’ experience within the industry. This is a specialised role as you will require skip wagon and drag skip wagon experience.
Hours
Monday - Friday: 7.00am - 4.30pm
Saturday: 7.00am - 11.30am
Overtime - Time and a half after 45 hours worked
Responsibilities and Duties
The role This is a unique opportunity for a Class 1 Driver who doesn’t want to do any long-distance driving to join this well established and expanding company. Your responsibilities will include:
Recycling collections for paper, cardboards, confidential waste and plastics
Driving different vehicles including skip wagon & drag skip wagon
Ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles
All-round abilities to include loading and labour work
Providing an efficient and effective collection service
Good general knowledge of areas in and around Manchester
Observing current legislation
Qualifications and Skills
A Class 1 Licence
Experience of driving a Class 1 wagon and drag vehicle
Punctual & reliable
Able to organise and prioritise
CPC Qualification
