We’re recruiting a Senior Security Engineer for a newly created permanent role within a growing cyber team supporting a large and complex enterprise environment.

This role is well suited to someone with a broad security engineering background who has also had genuine hands-on exposure to Privileged Access Management - not just using PAM tools, but helping to configure, deploy, uplift, integrate or operationalise platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust or similar.

You’ll work across core security controls, identity and access, infrastructure, cloud, incident readiness and operational uplift, with a strong focus on making security controls more effective in a real-world enterprise environment.

About the role

• Contribute to the uplift, configuration and ongoing improvement of core security controls across a large enterprise environment
• Support the deployment, configuration, optimisation and operational effectiveness of PAM and broader security platforms
• Work with internal technology teams to strengthen controls across infrastructure, cloud, identity, access management and core services
• Support privileged access, account onboarding, access policies, authentication controls and related governance activities
• Assist with technical remediation, control validation and follow-up actions from incidents, reviews or risk findings
• Help improve incident readiness, operational resilience and security response capability
• Support security investigations where required and contribute to practical remediation outcomes
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, configuration standards and operational playbooks
• Contribute to broader security engineering uplift, platform improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Experience in a Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, or similar hands-on security role
• Broad practical experience across security engineering, operational security and technical control uplift
• Hands-on exposure to PAM platforms, ideally including configuration, deployment, onboarding, integration or platform improvement
• Experience with tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust or similar would be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of privileged access, identity, authentication, access controls or related security domains
• Experience working with cloud, infrastructure, endpoint or network-related security controls
• Comfortable partnering with internal technical teams to improve security outcomes
• Able to work through incidents and technical issues in a calm, structured and practical way
• Strong understanding of how security controls operate in large or complex environments
• Able to speak confidently about what you have personally built, configured, deployed, improved or strengthened
