We are currently recruiting for a members of the housekeeping team for 5* Hospitality venues around the Scarborough area.  The ideal candidate would be Scarborough based with access to their own transport although it is not essential and the venues can be accessed by public transport.  You would be required to work up to 16 hours per week and the work would be across Friday - Monday, so would include weekends. The role is offering a starting pay rate at NMW and NLW but as you develop in the team there is always opportunities for extra hours and increased responsibility.  The venues operate at a high standard and you would be expected to clean to a 5* standard in the bedrooms and the self catering cottages. 

Company - This boutique hospitality venue operates across the Scarborough area, with bespoke B&B facilities and award winning self catering cottages attached to restaurants and pubs.  They are based n the outskirts of Scarborough but area accessible via public transport if you do not have your own transport.

Role:

• To ensure all public areas are cleaned to the highest standards ready for guests
• Be a hands-on member of the housekeeping team and working alongside the team to get the rooms and self catering cottages ready for guest arrivals
• Changing of bed linen in rooms
• Washing down the bathroom areas, hoovering of carpeted areas and cleaning of kitchen areas and lounge areas in the self catering cottages
• A good knowledge of health & safety and COSHH for the surroundings and chemicals you would be working with

 Requirements

• A good understanding of health & safety and COSHH
• Previous experience within a housekeeping team
• Excellent time management skills
• Happy to work in both bedrooms and self catering cottages
• Access to your own transport not essential 

Benefits – This role is a permanent position and is an immediate start with the pay been at NMW and NLW dependant on the age of the applicant.  You would also be given a polo shirt as uniform and have access to a share of the tips from the venue and meals on duty dependant on the length of your shift.
