We are currently actively recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for a family run client in the Pickering area of North Yorkshire, due to continued growth & expansion are looking to build their team. The successful candidate would be expected to work both on the shop floor as well as on site occasionally they must also be time served with a suitable amount of on-site experience. This can be an immediate start for the right candidate and the pay scale would depend on the experience of the candidate for working Mon-Fri 8am – 4.30pm.
The Company – Small family run business based in the Pickering area with years of experience in metal fabrication.
Role:
- Fabricate and both MIG & TIG weld in various metals
- Operate a CNC Plasma cutter and Press Brake
- Operate a mechanical guillotine
- Work from detailed Engineering drawings
- Work predominately in the workshop but will be required to work on site , which may require overnight stays
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar environment as a sheet metal worker
- Ideally be time served
- Must have experience of CNC plasma cutter and press brake
- Experience of fabricating and fitting duct work
- Be comfortable working form detailed engineering drawings
