I am actively recruiting for a Bar Manager for a venue in the Whitby area, the successful candidate with be part of the F&B team at this luxury destination and will be overseeing the management of the bar outlets within the venue alongside the drinks services for large events held at the venue. You would be expected to have previous bar management experience and have a very high level of customer service alongside experience with wines & cocktails. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone locally to take that step up or for a candidate who is looking to move to the Yorkshire Coast! Transport would be needed for the position and the expected start date would fall in line with the proposed opening of Hospitality within the UK
The Company – This unique hospitality venue is nestled among 80 acres of landscaped country grounds. The venue is part of a National chain of boutique properties and is the lead venue in the owner’s portfolio. In addition to being in an enviable location, the venue is comprised of two hotels, a selection of stunning cottages, a relaxing spa, including a restaurant and a pop-up restaurant on the grounds of the hotel.
Role:
- Be a personality & face of the business
- Lead the bar team and develop the future leaders for the venue
- Hands on management style ensuring events are well executed
- Work closely with all departments of the venue and be a part of team meetings when required
- High levels of customer service
- Take an active role in helping chose and design the products sole over the bar
Requirements:
- High standard of bar experience & passion for the products been used
- Knowledge of FOH & EPOS along with stock experience
- Ambition to progress
- Leadership skills
- Understanding of P&L financial
- Access to your own transport, due to the location of the venue
