We are recruiting for an experienced relief Chef to work in the Scarborough area who currently holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service to undertake relief chef duties with the education sector in the Scarborough area. The successful candidates will have all the relevant qualifications and prior experience of working in a similar environment and would be happy to undertake roles at short notice dependant on availability.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality food at each service
- To ensure all compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and stock areas
- Prepare, cook and serve food as specified by the venue and to ensure that the food meets the appropriate specification.
- Assist in the food prep and service when working as part of a team
- Assist in food ordering of produce
- To assist in anyway needed across the business
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years working in a fresh food kitchen environment
- NVQ Qualifications or equivalent
- Food Safety Qualifications Level 2 or higher
- Enhanced DBS on the update Service
- Ability to work on their own
- Good organisational skills
- Approachable, enthusiastic and hands on
Benefits - The role of chef is paying £10.00 per hour and would be ideal for someone looking for a part time position in the Scarborough area. Your working hours would be through Monday – Friday but you may be asked or required to pick up extra shifts as and when needed.
