Job purpose
The Clinical Assessment Centre in Manchester is used for the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) run for the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) exam, Fitness to Practise assessments, Revalidating assessments, Examiner/Assessor training and external hire of assessment services.
The purpose of the Assessment Delivery Administrator is to support on-site activities and events hosted within the Clinical Assessment Centre, in particular the associated administrative tasks involved in delivering high stake assessments.


Main responsibilities
1 To maintain schedules of work and events within the Clinical Assessment Centre.
2 To manage and progress the casework of Test Preparation activities, including examiner allocation, role player requirements lists, play outs & content generations, exam instructions, mark sheet files, circuit reports and candidate lists.
3 Assist in the setting up of meeting rooms and the examination circuit, including clinical assessment equipment such as manikins and high-fidelity simulators.
4 Deliver events and assessments to a high standard and on time, undertaking all duties associated with the event on a rota basis.
5 Accurate processing and publishing of exam results.

6 To action incoming requests and queries, adhering to SLAs, and escalating queries appropriately.
7 Liaise effectively with candidates by phone, written communication and face to face throughout the exam process, maintaining a professional relationship at all times.
8 Liaise with external parties such as Associates, role player agencies, marking bureau, external hire organisations and couriers.
9 Liaise with internal staff to ensure the smooth running of events, including the Assessment Development Team, Contact Centre, Facilities, and Document Services.
10 To input authorised orders for stationery and technical equipment.
11 To provide training, support and advice to colleagues.
12 Refer exceptions and complaints to the Assessment Delivery Team Coordinator and the Assessment Delivery Manager for advice and management as appropriate.
13 Monitor candidate requests for reasonable adjustments at PLAB exams. Process standard requests and refer all other requests to the Assessment Delivery Manager.
14 Maintain accurate records within Siebel, ensuring that they can be effectively tracked, monitored and progressed to meet SLAs.
15 To adhere to the information security policy/clear desk policy at all times and undertake regular clear desk testing.
16 To ensure work is fully compliant with GMC policy and procedure with particular reference to the Data Protection Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010.
17 Identify areas for continuous improvement in processes and procedures and, when appropriate, support the implementation and documentation of these improvements.
18 Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time. 

Salary-£23,254 to £28,584
