Within this role you will be vital to our departments service delivery, providing exceptional service, ensuring food and beverages are served within a timely manner and contribute to the overall guest satisfaction experience provided by the team.

MAIN DUTIES:

Planning: Responsible for ensuring that all bar areas have the staff, equipment, facilities and raw materials to ensure the proper daily operational execution of the bars departments and any associated entertainment and events activities.

Financial: Responsible for ensuring that bars departments and personnel are operating in such a manner as to maximise revenues, profitability and service standards and to ensure the security of revenues and company stocks.

Analytical: Responsible for analysing and controlling the operational costs and revenue streams of the bar departments to optimise profitability and security.

Operational: Responsible for all aspects of the operational execution, in areas as defined by management, of bar departments and associated entertainment and events activities.

  • Supervise and organise all F&B employees, facilities, equipment, and materials to ensure the highest standards of product preparation, presentation and service are achieved.
  • Ensure that all bar staff have the training, equipment, facilities, and materials to properly complete their duties.
  • Provide, and ensure staff provide, outstanding customer service and guest relations always.
  • Make recommendations to management on any and all aspects of the Club that could improve Guest Satisfaction.
  • Assist, as directed by management, with the selection, recruitment, training, appraisal, motivation, coaching & counselling of F&B staff members.
  • Strictly comply, and ensure all bar staff comply, with all accounting, control and financial procedures as required by the company to safeguard stocks, monies, and facilities.
  • Comply, and ensure all bar staff comply, with all current legislation and company procedures. For example but not exclusively in such areas as employment, licensing, Hygiene, Health and Safety and Gaming.
  • Foster outstanding co-ordination & communication with all Departments throughout the club to ensure guest experience is optimised.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and effective working environment for all staff.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Thorough knowledge of service standards relating to all aspects of the service of food, wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks & beverages.
  • Very comfortable when communicating with guests and fellow employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Great organiser, good persuader, great salesperson.
  • High level of personal integrity.
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Show respect and appreciation to all.
