The company provides solutions, services and products that help its customers businesses, organisations and states in the defence, aeronautics, space, transportation and digital identity and security markets.

Main Responsibilities
Facilities Supervisor supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Oversees staff that installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Ventilation and Air Conditioning), safety, and waste management.
The supervisor keeps the facility running efficiently by overseeing both personnel and equipment.

Duties

  • Being able to complete tasks efficiently and without very close supervision
  • Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and other specific programming
  • Ensuring that a safe and equitable environment exists at all times for the whole site
  • Coordinate activities of assigned staff; determine staff and plan work schedule (if any)
  • Define the materials to Purchase and maintain inventory where necessary
  • Adhere to a function within all established safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations including assuring all aspects of a safe work environment for employees, customers and more in general to all externals
  • Oversee subcontracted workforce related to FM
  • Review and analyse reports; may make recommendations based on reports
  • Ensure the proper use and care of equipment
  • Assist with budget preparation including project budgets
  • Administer preventative maintenance/maintenance program, schedule maintenance and shutdowns supervising technicians and relevant assigned Companies
  • Prepare Purchase Requests
  • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and so on
  • Waste management and related documentations
  • Coordinate the local car fleet distribution in collaboration with local Office boy and the Fleet Management Supervisor
  • Helping businesses to relocate to new offices and/or to reallocate people with new internal layouts
  • Allocating and managing space inside and outside the company buildings
  • Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Take responsibility for all keys that access all doors in each facility

Requirements

  • Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
  • Ability to work and produce required information within tight timescales
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio applications, Autocad
  • Ability to standardize good practices and lessons learnt
  • A good knowledge of IT environment
  • Understanding of infrastructures
  • 3-4 years previous experience in facility management and/or office management
  • Technical degree
  • Fluent English


Desirable

  • Good knowledge of safety management systems and environmental requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, 50001 and ISO 45001
