Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Support Assistant to work with our client based in Uxbridge. Hours: 30-35 hours per week (Flexible rota, including weekends if required)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Housing & Support Assistant to join a supported housing service in Uxbridge. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing excellent customer service while helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment. This is a varied role combining reception, administration, housing support, and health & safety responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors, and external agencies.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond to enquiries professionally.
  • Carry out reception duties, including answering calls, managing emails and post, processing payments, and reporting repairs.
  • Welcome new residents and assist with sign-ins, move-ins, and general enquiries.
  • Conduct regular health & safety, security, and wellbeing checks throughout the building.
  • Monitor and report maintenance issues, anti-social behaviour, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records, update internal systems, and complete incident reports.
  • Support residents by providing information, guidance, and signposting to relevant services where appropriate.
  • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality housing and support service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housing, supported living, reception, administration, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging situations professionally.
  • Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
  • Flexible to work a rota, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK. A satisfactory DBS check will be required
