ABOUT THE COMPANY/ ROLE OVERVIEW

My client is an enterprise FMCG company looking for someone to be responsible for assisting in developing test strategies, plans and executing testing activities on Kronos.

 

THE PROJECT & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The project is to implement a new Cloud-based version of Kronos Workforce solution to replace the on-premise Kronos Timekeeper V4 Time and Attendance System currently used. Workforce Dimensions Solution will replace multiple Time and Attendance systems used across the company.

  • Analyse use cases, acceptance criteria and requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Collaborate with business SME’s to ensure test cases and test plans covers all business requirements
  • Support Test Manager in execution and management of testing activities
  • Ensure use of appropriate testing methodologies and techniques
  • Undertake and coordinate all aspects of Test lifecycle E.g., Regression Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and be able to provide contribution to project planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure all testing activities and documentation are completed within the set timeframes and requirements as well as in accordance with appropriate test methodologies and techniques/standards.
  • Ensure appropriate level of quality is maintained by the resolution of critical defects and issue management
  • Use of test management tools for maintaining test cases, defect management etc. E.g., Open Project

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in testing KRONOS (Work Force Dimensions) Time and Attendance and associated Workforce Management processes
  • Demonstrated experience in test preparation and execution including use of testing tools.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing Test Scripts for EBA/Award conditions, Functional and System Integration
  • Excellent organisation, planning motivation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels and senior leadership teams
  • Excellent presentation and active listening skills
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently, be self-driven and can plan and prioritise business opportunities
