We are recruiting an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join our team.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across an industrial site, working to health & safety and COSHH requirements.

Hours:

Monday–Thursday 06:00–16:00

Friday 06:00–14:00

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Dukinfield

Start: Immediate / ASAP

Key duties

• Deep cleaning of production and storage areas, toilets, canteens and welfare facilities
• Use of industrial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, pressure washers, steam cleaners) and manual cleaning tools
• Safe handling and correct dilution/use of cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH
• Collecting and disposing of waste and recyclables
• Reporting maintenance issues, spillages and hazards; following site safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Occasional heavy lifting and manual handling (training provided)
• Working flexibly to meet operational needs and to support shutdowns/turnarounds when required

Essential requirements

• Proven experience in industrial/commercial cleaning (CV must show relevant experience)
• Comfortable operating industrial cleaning machinery and working with cleaning chemicals
• Good understanding of health & safety practices (COSHH, PPE); willingness to follow site rules
• Right to work in the UK
