Our client, a market leader in the building/sustainable materials industry currently require LGV C+E Curtain Sider Drivers to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 licence
- Must hold a valid driver CPC and Digi tacho card
- Must have no more than 6 points on driving licence
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience required
- Must have good geographical knowledge
- Experience of Curtain Sider Driver
- Must ensure all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail
- Possess excellent customer facing skills
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to work
The role is a driver role, delivering mostly building materials with no/very little handball involved. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
The role is based in Broom, Biggleswade and would be commutable from all surrounding areas. Our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work: 5/6am start to finish
Rates of Pay (PAYE) - £13.10 per hour
Rates of Pay (LTD) - £15 per hour
This position is long term on-going work. All year round.
Overtime available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
