Our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry, is currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join their successful business on a full-time on-going basis.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- Experience within a similar role or waste management industry (desirable but not essential)
Job Details:
- Hours of Work: 8.5 hours a day (30 mins lunch break) starts times between 6:30am - 7am
- Days of Work: Monday – Friday
- Rate of Pay: £9.50per hour (overtime £11.97ph, Saturdays £13.50ph)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Driving 3.5T Van
- Collection of materials, items for customers
- Carry out all aspects of grounds maintenance
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Exterior maintenance, potting, planting, and maintaining troths and hanging baskets
- Sweeping and bagging litter/leaves
This is a grounds maintenance role which will involve driving from area to area. Opportunities for overtime, career progression and permanent employment can become available for the right candidate.
