Our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry currently require X2 Street Cleaners to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Duties will include-
- Collecting refuse from domestic and trade premises
- Loading onto a collection vehicle using the equipment provided to agreed work targets and to high standards
- Working in the yard sorting recycling into sections and bailing materials.
- Making sure the streets are clear of waste.
- Removing of graffiti.
- Litter picking.
- Changing of communal bins.
The role is a Street Cleaning role and the ideal candidate will be physically fit and be courteous and helpful at all times. Experience of the waste management industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national waste management company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
*Please note that you must have a category B driving license for this role, with no more than six points*
The role is based in Gloucester, and would be commutable from Barnwood, Tuffley etc, our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work: They ask for flexibility with start times, you will be required to work either 6:00-14:00, or 08:00am – 16:00, it will depend on requirements.
Rates of Pay £8.72 Per Hour (uplift to £9.30 after 13 weeks)
Overtime Available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
