Our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry currently require Tip site assistant’s to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Duties will include-
- Interacting with members of the public directing them to the correct bays
- Assisting members of the public with recycling their objects and recycling their waste in a safe manner by helping them unload heavy or awkward items eg washing machines/sofas etc.
- Monitoring health and safety of all workers and customers whilst they are onsite – including monitoring speed limit of drivers whilst onsite
- Some recycling sorting as and when needed.
The role for a tip site assistant and the ideal candidate will be physically fit, willing to work in an outdoor environment and be courteous and helpful at all times. Experience of the waste management industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national waste management company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
The role is based March and would be commutable from Peterborough, Cambridge and Wisbeach. Our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work are Varied - The site is open 7 days per week so you will be booked con a rota basis 5 days per week (including weekends) 2 days off during the week. (8am – 5pm)
Rate of pay will be £8.21ph and is weekly pay
Overtime Available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
