One of our growing clients is seeking a motivated Director to lead their accounting advisory services practice! This is a typical 40-45 hour work week within a professional services company with less than 15% travel!
Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure exceptional service delivery across a variety of client engagements.
- Design and execute advisory services to address client needs in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and financial planning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business objectives and providing customized solutions.
- Lead and develop the team by mentoring staff and fostering a culture of growth, learning, and innovation.
- Manage workloads effectively, supervising associates, senior associates, and managers as required.
- Conduct thorough reviews of team members' work, providing constructive feedback and ensuring quality.
- Serve as a career advisor to team members, offering guidance to associates, senior associates, and managers to support their professional development.
- Provide both verbal and written performance feedback to team members regularly.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities to drive firm growth and expand the client base.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA REQUIRED
- 10+ year of accounting experience; at least 2 within public accounting
- Passion to develop staff
